About the event
The Black Girls Who Read Summit is a national stage for voices that inspire. It is an opportunity for speakers, authors, and cultural leaders to share expertise, elevate Black storytelling, and engage a community that is deeply invested in knowledge, growth, and collective impact.
Our inaugural Book Summit will take place April 3–5, 2026 at The Crown Venue in Dallas, Texas. This is not a traditional book conference. It is a purpose-driven gathering created for Black women to read, lead, and build together. Across three days, we will celebrate Black womanhood, storytelling, entrepreneurship, and community in a powerful, immersive environment.
The Summit will feature 50+ authors and book vendors, hands-on Writer’s Workshops for aspiring authors, curated panels, cultural conversations, and community activations.
